A BREATHER IN THE MOMENT OF DESPAIR.

With every day passing, it is equally painful and scary to see new revelations coming, parents are panicking, and an uncertainty prevails, like the worst is yet to be unveiled.

Things remains the same with us in fact the facts choke us even more, when we have been continuously speaking about pornography and children, then majority did not take our concern over pornography and its harmful impact in correlation with Child Sex Abuse seriously as everyone had there petty concerns… that of reaching home ,projects ,never ending complaints! Alas till it came into open. Even now we are talking aloud and voicing that what has been revealed, what has been brought in notice is just the tip of iceberg........so our saga continues......!

I traveled to HUBLI to create a functional team. There we spent from our pocket, simply to value our time and money...

It was early in the morning. The weather was cloudy and it was drizzling.

We stepped into the gate. Wow! It felt that we were transported back in time, the school was 105 years old. Ancient but still standing strong. We walked in and waited outside the principal’s room on that old wooden bench, the helper who was looking at us, left her broom aside and asked us with a smile in kannada "H.M AVARRANU NODDOKKE BANDERA".

We smiled and replied that we will wait for the assembly to finish.

I had just finished saying this and there was a heavy downpour but the assembly continued.

WITH ABSOLUTE SHOCK AND PRIDE WE ALL WATCHED................

IT WAS OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM AND THAT WAS IT........

THE CHILDREN AND TEACHERS ALL DRENCHED .......NOT ONE SOUL COMPLAINED BUT ALL LAUGHING OVER THE INCIDENT, NONE RAN TO SHELTER.

We were greeted by a calm senior lady short in height, with long hair with the smile full of warmth.

She was "THE TEACHER"

WE TOLD OURSELVES!

THERE IS HOPE FOR THE FUTURE OF INDIA "

UNSPOKEN WORDS OF THE HURT CHILD

We receive so many mails every day. The following is one of the mail which touched our heart.

SONY AND SURAJ are an awesome couple who have been with us in this work and we took our work to Manyata tech park.The mail was something that touched all our hearts that we want to share.

Below is a verse I put together when I took some time and reflected on the feelings of betrayal and intense trauma a child subjected to abuse has to undergo. This made me realize how important the work that Srishti life does means to a lot of children. 


"I wanted to laugh, I wanted to cry
And one day even reach out for the sky and fly
But then you did nasty things to me on the sly 
And made me vulnerable and on my innocence did pry

You made me weep when you behaved like a creep
And sometimes made me wish I got eternal sleep
What you have done has damaged me inside deep
This agony and sorrow I will for a lifetime have to keep

I remember there was no lightning and thunder 
On the day you turned my existence to a blunder 
From that moment my life went asunder 
That I am still here in itself is a wonder

All this happened in my world while my parents were busy making money
They said they were working hard for me their lovely honey
While the things happening with me I felt were not funny
There were only dark clouds in my horizon and the way was no longer sunny

Sometimes I feel like an animal in a cage 
And then there are times I fly into a rage
As to why my life's book has this page
What was my mistake that I had to burn at this stake

It is unfortunate my life has had to come this miserable way
But please make sure your child does not have to see a similar day
We need to provide our children with a secure environment and care 
And together let's all the responsibility share"

EVERY CHILD IS EVERY ONES CHILD AND EVERY CHILD IS SAFE

2 years back when Raji told this "Every child is every ones child and Every child is Safe", we saw our                                                                                        words has come true today.

The flood of people who were on the streets, showed our social responsibility. We feel a ray of hope as we have been raising our voice giving children the power to talk. We were working for 2 years spending our money, time and effort in creating awareness programs. As a team  when we were there we experienced so many people for the cause. Our prayers and support for the mother and the little angel who is hurt.

"THE LITTLE ANGEL WHOSE DELICATE WINGS OF TRUST TORN,

 FEATHERS OF FAITH  FALLEN APART HURTS LIKE A THORN.

 CROWN OF LITTLE ANGEL INNOCENCE LOST FOR EVER,

 TO SEE HER LITTLE ANGEL SHATTERED UNIMAGINABLE,

 GOD! GIVE HER STRENGTH AS SHE WOULD NOT BE ABLE.

 FOR YOUR STRUGGLE , FOR JUSTICE WILL NEVER GO VAIN".

IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP OR YOU WOULD A VICTIM'S PARENT...

          It is Sad State of Affair that some Negligence can cost our Children Huge Tragedy & Mishap to our Lives. I wonder why we are this way. I wanted a world safe for my Child and started this journey 4 months back. We had approached VIBGYOR Principal & Head, after one of our Participants wanted our work at the School to bring in Awareness among Children on 'Child Sex Abuse' and being Safe & Responsible. After a lot of consideration, they could not accommodate a 90 mins program that could be Profound. Why I Boldly Dare to say this is that in one such programs at a remote village near N. R. Pura where the chances of such intense abuse is less. We had our Program at the Church where the Father was so Committed to have the Program and The Church was the only place available. He told us this is God's Work and gave the church after the Sunday mass. We got a call after 3 weeks of our Program where the ABUSER was CAUGHT by the Children because they where taught to Take Responsibility. Parents keep giving Responsibility that utterly fails,it is always taking responsibility that works.

 We spoke to the Lady(VIBGYOR) yesterday, she apologized, but that Apology can never give the Child, Parent and Authority what they have lost… PEACE OF MIND.

          I am writing this from Cochin (Kerala) during the program here for my State Children and my Team working in Bangalore.

A request, Please Wake Up, Wake Up or it will be too late as your child may be Affected / Unsafe.

It maybe just that your Child is not Speaking…Take Responsibility, 

If You don't, Your Child will Not..
